- What is it
- APEX® AutoPilot records user steering inputs so that they can be played back on the following welds.
- How it works
- As the system travels down its path when a steering input by the operator is detected its location along the path is recorded with the amount of offset.
- Why it is better
- Playback of the steering can be done in either travel direction freeing up the operator to either manage other weld items or manage more than one unit at a time. To accomplish this the system also supports automatic stopping once the weld length is achieved and wire loss detection to prevent damage to the tip in a wire process.

- Available in all APEX 3 series platform equipment which are designed to drive the HELIX M series weld heads
